I am a experienced and accomplished educator, researcher, and arts advocate, blending interdisciplinary expertise and multimodal strategies to transform experiences in traditional and anamolous learning spaces. Holding a Doctorate in Curriculum & Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, my work bridges the fields of arts, education, museum studies, and multicultural curriculum development. My award-winning dissertation, Beyond Beauty: Black Women Artists’ Epistemologies and Aesthetic Praxes, exemplifies my dedication to exploring the intersections of identity, creativity, and pedagogy.

In addition to my Ed.D., I hold an M.Sc. in Childhood Education from The City College of New York, an M.A. in Communications from the University of Southern California, and an M.A. in Film/TV Production from New York University. This academic foundation supports my work at the nexus of research, teaching, curating, and community engagement.

I specialize in areas such as African Diasporic Arts, Arts-based Research, Critical Pedagogies, Museum Education, and the transformative role of culture in shaping interdisciplinary learning and creative expression.
